Yr Ysgwrn, its bardic chairs and scripts were purchased, not only to protect them as a collection, but also for their literary and historic significance to Snowdonia, Wales and beyond.

Yr Ysgwrn and its contents are owned and managed by the Snowdonia National Park Authority, who have established a Friends of Yr Ysgwrn group. The group’s aim is to raise awareness of Yr Ysgwrn’s significance on a local, national and international basis.
