New Nest Boxes at Yr Ysgwrn - 19 April 2018

Last week pupils from Ysgol Bro Hedd Wyn came to visit us at Yr Ysgwrn to help promote biodiversity at the site.

After a morning planting apple trees at Bryn y Gofeb, the children came up to Beudy Llwyd to build nest boxes to be placed around Yr Ysgwrn farm. We hope that birds like the Blue Tit, the Great Tit and the Wood Warbler will take advantage of them in the coming months. The pupils will return regularly to monitor them to see who has chosen to nest in them.

Remember to have a peek around the garden and the farm when you visit to see if you can recognise some of the species!
